Concussion/TBI Recovery & Support
A Whole-Body Path for Post-Concussion Wellness in Port Charlotte
Moving beyond the 'dark room' protocol. I use Microstim therapy to unwind the nervous system and encourage your body's natural restorative state
My Motivation Behind This
My journey into concussion recovery started with my own life. Having suffered multiple head injuries when I was younger, I knew the "fog" that lingers long after the impact.
I originally took this highly specialized training to help my partner navigate the daily frustrations and "triggers" of living with a TBI and stroke. The results were immediate: after just one session, his daily stress reactivity visibly softened, providing a significant 'buffer of calm' that lasted for days.
I brought this protocol to Port Charlotte to help others find that same "buffer of calm." Whether you’re dealing with a recent whiplash (a "wave" concussion) or head trauma from years ago, you don’t have to "just live with it." I’ve seen this work break the cycle of chronic migraines and brain fog, moving the body from survival mode back into a state of active healing

Why You're Still Foggy

Traditional rest mainly focuses on the brain, often using techniques such as 'dark room therapy.' Yet, a concussion impacts the whole body. When the injury occurs, your body's stress response (the Autonomic Nervous System) can get trapped in a 'High Alert' state. If we don't help this stress dissipate, the healing process may be put on hold.
Beyond the Dark Room: Three Stages to Reclaiming Your Clarity

Structural Decompression
A concussion can leave your nervous system stuck in a permanent "Fight or Flight" state. Microstim acts as a reset switch, helping to downregulate this stress response and moving your body from survival mode back into recovery mode

Systemic Rebalancing
I target the physical "tightness" in the cranial sutures and the dura (the brain's protective lining). This helps ease physical pressure, supporting natural fluid flow and drainage that is often restricted after an impact. Often times chronic low level low back pain will be relieved from these treatments.

Cellular Communication
The gentle current mimics the body’s own electrical signals to support tissues that have been under extreme mechanical stress from the injury.. By supporting a calm internal environment, I help provide the space your brain needs for clearer communication without the fog.

Concussion Support Options
The full concussion protocol consists of 6 sessions
4 are done on the sutures of the skull, and 2 are to address all scars.
If you don't have any scars, those two sessions do not necessarily need to be replaced by suture sessions.
Each treatment lasts approximately 2 hours
Scar sessions can be much shorter, depending on how many.
Individual results vary, this is not intended to replace any current therapies or doctor instructions for your own personal brain injury.

Single Session: $150
Full protocol (4 suture, 2 scar): $900
No Scar-4 treatments: $600
